The last leg of the build. Fitting the neck, shielding, installing Wilkinson Pickups, a bit of unexpected routing, wiring it up and stringing.
I have holes drilled for behind the bridge thru-body stringing, but I need to fit some mini-ferrules to the top as the strings are pulling through the finish, so I will do those at some point.
I have played it a bit and it sounds pretty good for a 65 quid guitar. OK it cost more than that with the pickups / paint etc but it's not bad at all. The neck is a meaty handful and the board is flat. The frets could use a polish (bends feel a bit scratchy) but it has all the Telecaster sounds. Overall a very good kit for the money.
