For the second race, I took off a single point of rear wing and this helped the car run more competitively on the straight. I was confident of a podium finish, failures excepting. Pole position and fastest lap are small crumbs of comfort because I'm sad to leave my home province without a finish. It's a shame more overtaking wasn't possible because during warmup I managed to slip past cars both on the inside and outside of turn 7. In the race this proved much too dangerous, but at least the two Penske rivals took themselves out too. I'll be generous and call this a racing incident. On lap 2 (1:46), the car experienced gear selection problems, possibly relating to my aging and sometimes dysfunctional joypad.

-Raul Boesel scores 2 points for pole position & fastest lap
