Under sunny skies, a dedication dance and ribbon cutting ceremony at the Ho-Chunk Nation Labor Day Pow-Wow on September 1 set the stage for healthier children in Ho-Chunk Nation. Children's Health Fund unveiled it's newest program and 50th "doctor's office on wheels" with the launch of the Ho-Chunk Nation Children's Health Project. The mobile health clinic is the first of its kind in Indian Country, and will make it easier for Ho-Chunk children in more remote communities to get the medical care and services they need. The clinic was funded by Idol Gives Back Foundation, a philanthropic organization established by producers of the television program American Idol.
