Madrd, 17 May (EFE).- Cosmopolitan, elegant, diplomatic, a driving force behind modern Spanish literature and above all a creator committed to his times. That was Carlos Fuentes, one of the greatest Mexican authors to have lived and a leader of the so called Latin American boom together with Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Mario Vargas Llosa and Julio Cortázar as well as other great writers of the 1960s.
