The thing about the 90s, at least they didn't alienate adults. Enjoyable for all ages, would cover some dark themes and didn't underestimate children. This assumes kids have no attention span, the Spongebob crowd. Of course these cartoons have existed in the 00s (JL, S Spiderman, W&tX-Men, Y Justice, etc) just now those are gone to make way for this breed of superhero cartoon. Because it's all about kids and toy sales. And Batman:TAS was just "ok?" As for Marvel, X-Men and Spiderman were great.

To bad EMH didn't get renewed because their was a lot of things they could have done with that show in the next season. I wanted to see more of the Vision, and the Scott Lang Ant-Man but they had to pull the plug. Plus, they hinted at a Civil War storyline. C'mon Marvel, older Marvel viewers don't want this crap. Look at DC, they got Young Justice and Green Lantern. Which are both way better than this kid trash.
Garrick Groover
You have to be joking
Garrick Groover
Yeah, the animation is the only good thing about this show

yah totally!! At least EMH does well with staying true to its comic book based tales and characters and yet having a Disney cheesiness in certain areas.

I was about to ask what the hell they did to Doctor Strange.... then 0:30 happened and Spider-Man summarized my feelings for me. Seriously, Doctor Strange has NEVER looked so badass.

I like a good cameo as much as the next guy, but that's pretty much all this show seems to focus on. I was under the impression that ultimate spiderman would focus more on the spiderman story line; not just keep introducing other heroes and their villans.
NPCwars
Whhhhyy spectacular spiderman whyyyy?!?!?!?!?! Oh well, better appeal to the younger generation for marketing/toys.
RealCoolGuy
That was rhetorical.

introduction is important, follow through and stories are more important. I'd rather have a show thats starts off shakey and gets WAY better than show thats starts off good and tanks
