If an undercover cop pulls a gun on me and he doesn't show me his badge then he is going to have a real problem with me once I show him my gun. As far as I am concerned I am about to get robbed and my life is in jeopardy and I will defend my life with any rice I deem necessary

A recent study has found that when the police know they are being videotaped by citizens willing to exercise their 1st Amendment rights that abuse drops by nearly 90%, arrests go way down, and the demeanor of the officers is markedly less hostile.

me personally, i would have claimed he was just a normal citizen pulling a gun on me so i dropped his ass and disarmed him. he had no visible badge or creditable sources of proving he was an officer visible. so with that being said undercover car no visible proof, to me he is just a normal citizen that pulled a gun on me, impersonating a cop so therefore i dropped him. not to mention he put his hands on my bike.

So you can face over a decade in jail for video recording a cop, but the cop gets no jail at all for abusing his power harrasing and abusing people in the streets and in their homes! How is this justice, how is this America?

I think everyone should record the police when they get stopped by the police. the police are known to lie to try and make charges stick when their cases are week. It's sad but it is true. I had this happen to me. I went to court and the cop lied. I so wish I would of recorded what happened. I sent a letter asking the police for a copy of the tape they had and they wouldn't give it to me. and of course the police officer never brought it to court.
