On Friday local community leaders were given a tour of the completed Woolworth Building on Public Square in Watertown, N.Y. The building's $17 million makeover, funded through public and private investment, has converted the dilapidated 1921 structure into new housing and commercial space.
Tenants will begin moving in by Jan. 23, and the building's 50 apartments are expected to be filled by mid-February. Rent is determined by room size and tenant income.
