sure fijians do the hula, tamure and fire dancing and samoans, tongan, and polynesians do the fijian meke . i dont think its a big deal since were all under polynesian culture and influence and language ..... i sometimes wonder why we fijians(of melanesian and polynesian ancestry) feel out of place in melanesia. ....the dance says it all, u b da judge

Song is of Tokelau origin sing by Tevaka group out of New Zealand. Dance moves are influence from Tahiti and Cook Island etc. Judging from looks dancers are of Fijian origin. They are having fun spirit of all island people! All you miserable and sorry ass haters take your comments back to your momma house cause it dont matter here so BEAT IT!!!

I was born in Fiji and half Rotuman. Sure, Fijians can do all the dances but they are not traditional Fijian dances. They are borrowed and not "our" dances. Acknowledging where they orignate from educates people that are ignorant of the differences. To say they are all Fijian doesn't do justice nor respect to all the distinctive cultures the dances are borrowed from. Alalum!
