Tenor Anthony Kearns was the featured guest performer at the first-ever Embassy benefit for the USO's wounded warrior program (called "Operation Enduring Care") and ThanksUSA for military families at the New Zealand Embassy on December 5, 2010. Mr. Kearns dedicated "Ave Maria" to the memory of the 29 New Zealand miners who were tragically lost earlier this year, and their families. Mr. Kearns is an original founding member of The Irish Tenors.

Mr. Kearns was accompanied by Linda Monson of George Mason University.
