After weeks of training I finally did this in the worst form possible... At least I did one, I even damaged by left side of the lumbar section of my spine, I did not stop. However now, I can finally do one clean super man push up but it hurts big time, just makes you realise how exposed and weak your back is, it's fantastic, BEST WORKOUT IN THE WORLD!

+clarence fender i know, i mean its INCREDIBLE at how strong your back becomes, no more back pains, no more weak backs! great work out, 10/10 recommended, for me it replaced dead lifts, and that alone should say something, still trying to do it full stretched, which is tough!

How did you work your way up to being able to do this if you don't mind me asking? I can do this, but only when I'm pushing with my wrists as well.

I love doing this pushup in front of guys who dont know what it is. Haha they freak out. Especially when they try it and cant do it xD Now ive got a challenge for you....I want to see you do the superman pushup one-handed. Ive only seen one guy do it one-handed. He can still do one or two and hes in his mid-fifties now. Im gonna work to be able to do it one-handed. Thats my goal. :3

Gee, this is embarassing. I do usually 30 before going to sleep. I couldn't do one of these!

To all the people who injured their back on this exercise, as well as anyone who attempts this in the future. Squeeze your gluteal muscles as hard as you can while doing this pushup. It will keep your lumbar spine nice and neutral (a.k.a. pressure free) during the pushup making it easier and safer.

WOOOOOW! i just did one!!!! jessus christ... thats how i felt when i did one yesterday, after 3 weeks of training (i started from the top and fell down slowly and this improved) i finally did it, its hard and i have in-fact injured my back but thats a minor as i always injure something when attempting. its painful yet so insanely good when doing it, my back is extremely weak for this kind of exercise but now it has definitely improved, just like bridges, i could not do one so i pushed my self up and held my self up for 2-3 seconds before collapsing and now i can hold my position for more than 2 minutes advanced.
