Bartlow Gallery LTD

Turning his back on the man who changed his life by buying his first painting, Peter Doig stopped Bob Fletcher from selling the painting thus breaking the law. In a desperate attempt to avoid damages he induced a long estranged relative of a deceased Pete Doige to swear to whatever he told her. In an uncanny coincidence, they do bear a resemblance.
