In this clip (titles added!) from the September 1, 2009 edition of Talking Show (大話新聞), Wang Jen-hsien (王任賢) (Central Region Commander for Taiwan's Centers for Disease Control [疾管局中區指揮官]) disputes former Minister of Health Chen Chien-jen's (陳建仁) sensible advice to give Tamiflu to H1N1 patients within 48 hours of diagnosis, saying that BEIJING told him you could give it to patients as late as the 8th day -- if you remember (?!).
On September 4, the Taipei Times told us of an H1N1 patient -- a 10-year-old boy -- who was hospitalized on August 26, not diagnosed with H1N1 until September 3, and *died* later the same day after just 9 days in the hospital: http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/taiwa...
Give medicine on the 8th day? Get the fuck outta here!
The Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九) administration keeps telling everybody to "wait" for things that never happen.
With these guys, it's always "too little, too late." You will die waiting for the Ma administration to help you. Don't fall for their empty promises and their incompetence. Get the fuckers out of office!
