Jon Zaghloul, President of SportsTalkChicago.com and Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Crestwood Panthers, makes his first appearance on ESPN's SportsCenter after making sports broadcasting history on August 5th, 2019. Entering the 7th inning of Crestwood's matchup against the Bloomington Bobcats, Zaghloul abandoned the game's broadcast in order to warm-up, and eventually, enter the game as a relief pitcher in the 9th. This is the first time in baseball broadcasting history that an announcer has been summoned from the booth to the pitcher's mound!
