In March 2010, The Prince of Wales visited Afghanistan for an unannounced two-day stay. His Royal Highness's packed itinerary included visiting British Armed Forces at a Forward Operating Base, staying the night at Camp Bastion and meeting representatives of Canadian, Australian and New Zealand forces. The Prince also visited the Turquoise Mountain Foundation, which he founded with President Karzai to preserve traditional Afghan craft skills. Visit http://www.princeofwales.gov.uk to find out more.
