An event to commemorate and grieve for lost species. This year, because of all the destruction to wetland ecosystems in the area; from new road building in Combe Haven to fracking in Balcombe, both destroying habitats of land and water -- the event was dedicated to Amphibian life.

An effigy of the Northern Darwin Frog, that became extinct this year was carried to a community growing project where a ceremonial space was created for stories & reflections to be shared. The Northern Darwin Frog was cremated.

"The wild is caught in a fireblaze, the flames seem too hight to stop - if we cannot grieve for all that is being lost in the wild, then it was never loved." - Andreas Kornevall
