Today's Script:

It's December 18th, on today's show...

There's a new trailer for Peter Molyneux's Project Godus...
Star Wars: The Old Republic gets an expansion...
and we check out Indie Royal's Xmas Bundle...

Whats up Shackers, I'm Ryan Calavano and here are your top stories...

With three days and an awful lot of money left to go, Peter Molyneux and 22cans' crowd-funding campaign for a new god game codenamed Project Godus is looking unlikely to end happily. In the hope of raising interest and hitting their goal of 450,000 lbs. (or roughly 731k US), 22cans has put out a trailer with gameplay footage from its early, early prototype. Project Godus is to be a sandbox god game like you'd expect from Peter Molyneux of old. Becoming a god, you'll get to sculpt the landscape, control the elements, and, importantly, send your followers into war to wipe out infidels. If the game gets funded, that is. "Do keep in mind that this is a prototype and by no means the final game," 22cans urged. This recent video really isn't very impressive. Supposedly it'll release a new video with commentary from Molyneux himself today, though it had planned to release the playable prototype last Friday and that never materialised.
If you want to help Godus as it approaches the finish line with a pronounced limp, you can chip in cash for the Kickstarter campaign. Pledging around 15 lbs or 25 bucks will get you a copy of the game when it's finished.

Have you ever watched Return of the Jedi and wondered how a race of repulsive and not particularly mobile space slugs became a powerful crime syndicate? Star Wars: The Old Republic has your answer next year with the first full expansion to the game, titled "Rise of the Hutt Cartel." Check out some of the trailer:

According to the official site, it will increase the level cap to 55 and introduce a new planet called Makeb, which was revealed at E3. The expansion is planned for spring, and will cost $19.99, or $9.99 for subscribers. Either way, pre-ordering the expansion by midnight on January 7 will get you in to the expansion five days early.

With holiday shopping (hopefully) under your belt and finished, you probably have five or so bucks left to splurge on yourself. You may want to consider the Indie Royale "Xmas Bundle 2.0," which packages seven games with which to distract yourself during family gatherings.
The bundle includes Colour Blind, Offspring Fling, Serious Sam: Double D and The Random Encounter, Puzzle Bots, and Little Kingdom. Serious Sam: Double D is pretty insane. You'll also get a new indie title, Namiko, from Offspring Fling creator Kyle Pulver. Paying more than $8 will get you the album Rhythm'n'Bits by Yoann Turpin. This sounds like a pretty good christmas gift for a your gamer loved ones.
