How to Make a Minecraft Multiplayer SMP Server (Tutorial)

In this tutorial, I'll be giving you a brief but informative tutorial in the creation of a Minecraft Multiplayer SMP Server.

Items you'll need:
- Legitimate copy of Minecraft
- Server Software
- Internet Connection

1. Go to http://www.minecraft.net, and Install the Minecraft Server file. (Minecraft_Server.exe) (For PC) (For Mac and Linux download the .jar file)
2. Create a Server folder, and place the Minecraft Server File in that folder.
3. Open Command Consule, and enter "ipconfig"
4. Look for IPv4 Address. Remember the last digits following 192.168.1.( )
5. Open a new tab in web browser, and enter (Commonly Username:admin Password:admin)
6. Click on "Application and Gamming"
-Change Both Ports to 25565
-Change IP Address to the IPv4 Address (last digits)
7.Save Changes
8. Open Minecraft Server File inside Server Folder
9. Visit http://www.whatsmyip.org/
10 Your iP + :25565
(i.e (iP) 12.345.678.90:25565 (Port)
11. Enjoy playing on your server!
