Jodrell Bank Live is where music meets science under the shadow of the Lovell Telescope, the third largest steerable radio telescope in the world.
On July 2nd 2011 Transmission 001 launched the first of many events at the Scientific site. A day of talks and exploration of pulsars via the satellite was followed by cosmic satge shows by THE FLAMING LIPS, BRITISH SEA POWER & OKGO. Culminating in transforming the 270ft wide telescope into a projection screen featuring choreographed imagery of space..........
