This is number 2 of 2 clips I produced from this informal ping pong challenge. The other clip is a close up of Tebow being "schooled". This clip is the full game between Tebow and Trevor Runyon the US pro ping pong champ. I shot this clip from the second level looking down over the table.

Tim Tebow and his brother invited the world's best professional ping pong players upstairs to the Hardwood Suite for a few games using old-school "harbbat" sandpaper surfaced paddle.

The WCPP "world championship of ping pong" was held at the Palms Casino, Las Vegas on 7th & 8th of February 2011.

WHO?
Tim Tebow, now NY Jets Quarterback, was at the time QB for Denver Broncos (short sleeve grey shirt, black pants)
Trevor Runyon, US Air Force Cadet AND US Pro Ping Pong Champ (military haircut, green jersey, grey pants)
Paul Drinkhall, United Kingdom Pro Ping Pong Champ (long sleeved shirt and navy pants)
Marcos Madrid, Mexico Pro Ping Pong Champ (green jersey, black pants)

WHAT?
Denver Broncos NFL Quarterback and three of the worlds top international professional ping pong players (USA, UK, MES) got together in Vegas for a friendly 'HARBAT" ping pong match and demonstration.

What's "Harbat"? It's is old-school ping pong played with sandpaper surfaced hard paddles that reduce SPIN and increase SPEED, and rapid multiple VOLLEYS (faster than Forrest Gump!)

WHERE?
Hardwood Suite (basketball suite) at the Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas

WHEN?
6:30PM Tuesday 8th February 2011 (two days after the Super Bowl)

WHY?
Tim Tebow (of the Denver Broncos) and his younger brother play ping pong regularly (they have two tables back home). Tebow stayed in Las Vegas at the Palms Casino on the same night as the conclusion of the World Championship Ping Pong tournament. 16 international pro players competed for two days in the Pearl Concert Theater (for broadcast on Fox Sports Net). As evidenced by his stellar faceoff against US Champ, Trevor Runyon that night, Tebow is a REALLY GOOD ping pong player. He is also a good sport, for allowing us to hang out in his suite and watch the action.
