In June 2016, the LSE Middle East Centre brought together scholars, policy-makers and civil society representatives to critically reflect on some of the key challenges posed by the Syrian refugee emergency in Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and the wider Middle East. The workshop presented an opportunity to listen to the challenges faced by host states and to examine the responses of international organisations, governments and local communities to the crisis. The following video presents highlights from the workshop. The key themes covered in the discussion resulted in a set of recommendations relevant for all stakeholders.
