Dr. Daniel Jernigan is the Deputy Director of the Influenza Division at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Dr. Jernigan explains that while influenza is common, it's also very serious. He tells us why it's important to get vaccinated during flu season. The CDC recommends that everyone six months of age or older get vaccinated against influenza.
