YES, FOR SUGARING YOU APPLY OPPOSITE GROWTH, AND PULL IN THE DIRECTION OF GROWTH. This helps the follicle close, and prevents ingrown hairs. Regular waxing methods are different than sugaring.

Here are two different methods of using sugaring for 100% natural, safe hair removal. I find sugaring to be far less painful than regular waxing, and more convenient than shaving. Just remember to cleanse properly, hold the skin taut to avoid bruising, and exfoliate properly for a few days after sugaring for best results.

For the fabric strips I cut up a piece of a clean old scrap of cotton sheet.

Hard sugar wax:
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup water

Soft sugar wax:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup water
