When it comes to biased, distorted, one-sided reporting, there are lots of contenders out there, but the runaway winner is RTÉ every time!

RTÉ is entrusted each year with close to €200 million of taxpayers’ money to produce fair and objective current affairs programmes. Yet on issues like abortion all the public get in return from RTÉ are pro-choice views dressed up as news. The embedded bias against the pro-life position is so extreme it is a national scandal.

The pro-life movement warmly welcomes people of all faiths and none. What unites the movement is respect for the inherent value of every human life, born and unborn.

What we reject are lazy media caricatures of pro-life supporters and the point blank media refusal to robustly challenge those pushing for repeal of the Eighth Amendment. The public is entitled to a debate where the ideas and opinions of both sides are scrutinised and tested in an objective way, rather than simply giving the pro-choice side a free pass. As Ireland’s taxpayer funded National Broadcasting Station, RTÉ should be leading the way in facilitating such a debate. Instead, it's the single biggest obstacle to a reasoned debate taking place. The purpose of this short video is to shed light on this reality.
