Please like and share it with friends! There will be a narrative version of this promo after the truck race next Friday night! Thank to everyone that has been patient with this promo. Being in college isn't the easiest thing but I'm making it through the best I can with kickbutt grades and kickbutt videos! But enough about me, let's talk about the video that is at hand.
On February 26th, 43 drivers will embark on a sacrilege that started over 50 years. Daring drivers, doing whatever it takes to get to the checkered flag first. Hard working men and women, ready to do whatever is needed to make sure their driver has the best shot of winning. This however is not your ordinary race. This is "The Great American Race."
This race has been the launching pad of careers, the rekindlement of passion, and the avenue of excellence! For this 500 mile race has seen it all through the years. Anywhere from heartbreak to Cinderella stories coming true, this has been that race in which winning it could define your career, even define your life!
Ask Richard Petty, who won 7 Daytona 500s, or Jeff Gordon, trying to tie Cale Yarborough for 2nd on the all-time Daytona 500 wins list with 4. Ask Trevor Bayne, who before this race very few knew, but after pulling off the upset victory last year, became a household name and a true story of American perseverance! Ask Tony Stewart, who year after year has come close to the prize, but has yet to taste the champagne with the Harley J. Earl trophy alongside him. Ask Danica Patrick, who wants to do much more than to be a woman in a field of men, she wants to become the first women to win this great race and gain momentum towards a Nationwide championship.
Passion and tradition, excitement and pageantry, all comes in a 500 mile dance across Daytona's street of gold. Who will be next to become the next story of Daytona excellence?
Btw if anyone was wondering why the lack of extreme effects in the video, I wanted the images to do the talking instead of special effects and stuff.
