You don't get "popular" by posting information on the site as it is all anonymous and you don't recieve credit from the information that you post.

Yes, but people do not care if their information is correct; they just want to get popular by their posting.

Quarry mining is where you dig a large square hole into the ground, which looks somewhat like a chunk error. Here's the definition from the Minecraft Wiki, which I can assure you is not incorrect or else the information would have been removed, "This technique is to take off the top 6 layers of a mountain completely. Continue until your mountain is entirely flat. TNT is useful for the first 5 layers, since the explosion will destroy grass and dirt for the most part."

That is so, but like Wikipedia, is usually quite reliable as incorrect information is removed quickly. I have never seen a mistake on regular or the Minecraft Wiki. And seeing as how I found out the difference between branch and strip mining about a year ago from the Minecraft Wiki, you'd think if it's incorrect information it would have been removed by now.

Note that the vid poster actually references the wiki. The page that image is actually posted on clearly shows strip mining as a totally different technique.
Shenanigans1930
True, but what's your source that says otherwise? If it's YouTube vids, those are user created too.
Dean C Youtube
Wikipedia is USER CREATED INFORMATION GENIUS!
Shenanigans1930
you sure? The Minecraft wiki says otherwise.

you can make the tunnels any distance apart you want. i did some research and 11 blocks inbetween tunnels is most efficient for diamond
