I think it's extremely important to know where a candidate stands on settled science like the age of the earth and evolution. I'm suspect of a person who replaces rational thinking with the idea that an imaginary man created us in our current form and also created 100 billion observable galaxies simply for our amusement. We need to see more clear thinking Atheists running for office.
