The Consequences of Sexting is a mini documentary made be a high school filmmaker about how our youth are being punished and given harsh sentences. Help spread the word about sexting now by showing this film in schools and your home. It is the goal of this young filmmaker to have this shown in all the nation's middle and high schools in an attempt to stop destroying young lives because of teen sexting. It is a serious crime and it does permanent, personal damage.

In August 2010 twenty one states considered legislation to outlaw teen sexting with penalties ranging from summary offense "traffic ticket" to felony. On February 7, 2011 in conjunction with the Texas' State Attorney General, Greg Abbott, proposed State Senate Bill 407 which would reduce the penalty for teen sexting from a third degree felony to a Class C misdemeanor for first time offenders.
