To rose123: I enjoy this song very much and thank Sm.Jayashree for a beautiful effort BUT she should have carefully READ the kritis: NOT madhukara manikyana, but maganendu tiLiyuta suguNAnta ranganA AdisidaLe yashOde; 2) nigamakE silukada agaNita mahimana magugaLa mANikyana ADisidaLa yashOde; 3)aNOraNIyana mahatO mahImana apramEyana ADisidaLa yashOde;4)parama puruSana paravAsudEvana purandara vittalana ADisidaLu yashOde. JUST FOUR Charanams, why shorten, and even then make mistakes? Get a pandit, sit for 10 minutes. After all you are singing the Lord's Name. That is why I feel sad. This should not be a casual recording, Lord has given amazing talent and chance to spread NAME to so many in such a beautiful way, so do the best possible job.

All Carnatic songs are refreshing. If Modern Music is added, it looses its originality and sanctity. But this is the only song where modern music intertwines with the raga and touches the soul. Of course, we can't take away the credit from Bombay Jayashree for her soul stirring rendition......

the accompanying instrumental music is not in sync with a traditional... keertana... that is set to Carnatic style, notwithstanding the way the music is rendered is prolific and melodious, I think it falls into the genre of classic experimentation, a neo- classicist experience at that. there is definitely a certain confluence of elements of music which cannot be gainsaid...... it definitely makes listening a pleasure and the sonorous quality of the cadences, the mellifluous  cascade of outpouring music is again and again seems modernistic and experimental.....a departure from traditional classicism. I have to confess that I enjoyed listening.

A word of caution to anyone wishing to learn Jagadoddharana from this rendition. This song is beautifully rendered and the various modulations done in between can definitely be learnt from and used to improve upon once one has learnt the song apriori. The reason is in this rendition, the LYRICS ARE WRONG. the stanza sung as jagadOddhAraNa maganindu tiLiyuta, madhukara mANikyana ADisidaLa yashOde  is ACTUALLY two stanzas that go as  anupallavi jagadOddhAraNa maganindu tiLiyuta suguNAnta ranganA AdisidaLe yashOde  (jagadO) caraNam 1 nigamakE silukada agaNita mahimana "magugaLa" mANikyana ADisidaLa yashOde  (jagadO)
