Sales is the 2nd most in-demand job in Canada and yet only 19% of sales roles are held by females. Studies also show that females outperform in sales. So why do we still stink at finding and keeping women in sales? At our June 6th #NextGenTA Meetup, we tackled why companies struggle to attract women in tech sales and how to fix it.

Angela Payne

Angela has been hiring and coaching women in sales for many years. She has led large teams in global companies at a number of enterprise firms in HR solutions and has now made the shift into Tech. In her current role as the SVP & General Manager, Canada at Monster, Angela will bring a 360 degree view of hiring and retaining women in tech sales.

Wendy Lucas

Wendy has held several senior leadership roles in Sales & Professional Services at companies like GE and NexInnovations and Country Manager at Dimension Data Canada.

John Bodolai

John has held a number of senior sales executive roles in enterprise and start up organizations including Country Manager at Workday.

Jesper Bendtsen

Jesper is Top Hat's Chief People Officer and is responsible for all programs related to hiring, on-boarding, engaging, developing and retaining top talent. Prior to Top Hat, Jesper was EVP Operations at WilsonHCG where he led an international team of 300 team members delivering recruitment outsourcing services. Prior to WilsonHCG, Jesper was the Head of Global Recruiting at Uber and was Vice President of Global Go-To-Market Recruiting at Salesforce. In total, Jesper bring 20+ years of progressive talent experience.
