The University of Texas at Austin won the Watson University Competition, including $100,000 in seed funding for "CallScout".
Call center service technology has not dramatically improved over the years. "CallScout" is an idea that uses Watson technology to offload call volume and provide call center agents more time and resources for complicated request. The video also highlights how UT Austin piloted the app with the United Way & 211 Center in Austin, Texas to help people navigate the complex world of social services.
