One of the most popular, the playboy musical group in Burma, was a Burmese rock band formed in the early 1970' s by Drummer/vocalist Than Naing (often referred to as "PlayboyThan Naing") Other members of the group included Thein Tan (Myanmar Pyi) (guitar), University Aye Maung (guitar), Kyi Win Thaung (guitar), Ko Kyaw Min (guitar), Tommy Kyaw Naing (bass), Ko Kyaw Naing (bass), Than Naing (drums), San Lynn (drums), Zaw Win Shein (drums), Kong Brothers (keyboards), Soe Tint Thaung (keyboards), Tin Oo Thaung (keybroads), and Than Naing's wife Pearl (vocalist). The ban specialized in western-styled cover songs and including The Beatles, The Doors, CCR, The Youngbloods, and many cassette-only releases during their career.
