Western style shopping mall - very plush and fairly expensive (by Namibia's standards). One thing that surprised me is that Namibian supermarkets have exactly the same formats (shop layout, display etc) as Australian supermarkets. Probably 60% of canned goods, washing powders,. cooking oils, cereals etc are the same brands as those in Australian supermarkets (although they may be processed and packed in South Africa). Clothing shops and electrical shops have the same displays, advertising and selling approach as in Australia. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by thesimilarity of the supermarkets as a lot supermarket chains are international eg PicnPay has bought a supermarket chain in Australia..
