Swimming with dolphins and manta rays in Big Island, Hawaii.

Pods of dolphins cruise along the Kona coast of Hawaii. They're quite playful, jumping and flipping out of the sea. Occasionally, they came to look at us :) The water is amazingly blue and clear here.

At night, we find giant manta rays! Bright lights shine into the water to attract plankton, which in turn attract the manta rays to come feed. They're massive (about the size of a car or truck), yet I'd never seen any creature so graceful.

Special thanks to Iruka Tours (http://www.hawaiidolphintour.com / Japanese site: http://www.iruka.com) for arranging the dolphin and manta ray night swims). Special thanks to WaiWai Tours (http://www.waiwaitours.com/) for showing us the night-time volcano and a local tour of Big Island.

Captured on a GoPro Hero 4 Black and Nikon D800.
Timelapses edited in Panolapse.
