GE's liquid fuel additive called SPEC-Aid 8Q462, or +100, is proven to dramatically reduce operating and support cost for all U.S. Army helicopters at Fort Rucker, AL by $5.4M per year since the project began. Up to $150 per flight hour, and a 35:1 return on investment.

In fact, the project has been so successful, Fort Rucker recommended +100 be used in all Army aircraft going forward.

Known as +100 because it adds 100°F of thermal stability to JP-8 fuel, it also improves the quality of the fuel by preventing engine coking, resulting in a cleaner burn.
