10 years ago, Helen Storey heard Tony Ryan on Radio 4's weekly science magazine programme Material World.

A few days later, she called him. This phone call triggered a journey that has impacted on how Helen, as an artist, and Tony, as a scientist, have worked together ever since.

On March 6th 2014 they were in conversation to share the experience of their unique collaboration, seeking to bring the power of science and culture together for social purpose.

They highlighted their key projects along the way, beginning with Wonderland's Disappearing Dresses in 2005, to the new 'Pure Revolution' project working with students in China - this event marks a key moment in the chemistry that is possible when people and purpose align.
