This video provides an overview of the COMPOSE project, the European Union FP7 project dedicated to enabling new services that can seamlessly integrate real and virtual worlds through the convergence of the Internet of Services (IoS) with the Internet of Things (IoT).
Imagine an open marketplace in which data from Internet-connected objects can be easily published, shared, and integrated into smart services and applications. With new technological enablers, organized into a coherent and robust framework for both the delivery and management of connected objects, developers could easily create applications for any object that is part of the Internet of Things. COMPOSE, an EU project being carried out by a consortium of 12 partners from throughout Europe and led by IBM, is making this concept a reality.
