as i'm sure a lot of you can agree with, granola is one of the tastiest treats on the planet.
but quite often a lot of the granola recipes i stumble upon have quite pricey ingredients... goji berries, macadamia nuts, matcha tea... ain't nobody got a budget for that ! ( at least not me )
so here it is - my cheapified version of the healthiest granola ever recipe i've shared before. and like usual : no oil, no added sugar or syrup, no hanky panky.
all the ingredients i've used are organic. still this granola is just a fraction of the price it would have been if i'd bought it readymade in the food shop.
i'e gone with sunflower seeds instead of more expensive nuts and seeds. sunflower seeds are hella cheap, delicious, and good for you. instead of oils or tahini ( which i used in my earlier granola recipe ) i've gone with plain old bananas. yep, it works beautifully !
