Shot on a nutshell and powered by the 3 man teams determination to test new technologies in a unique and positive way. 11 years on It may seem somewhat dated but at the time it was the highest rated show on Discovery's networks; the style of the series was viewed as groundbreaking and spawned a host of successful tribal journeys shows. Note: Bruce Parry of TRIBES fame actually approached the producers for a job... guess we should have given him one...
