THEY WERE DOWN BUT NOT OUT. Four, formerly homeless, graduate the Atlantic City Rescue Mission Work Readiness Program.

Dennis, Clyde, Jason and Jose are on the road to reclaiming their broken lives. And while the journey may be long, Work Readiness graduation is a milestone for Mission residents, making that dream a reality.

The Atlantic City Rescue Mission, Work Readiness Program is 120 hours of intensive preparation class work and work service. Homeless Participants volunteer for this program after completing the Overcomers Program. Watch Clyde's personal story.

Dignity, Self-respect and a little Unconditional Love and Support are sometimes, all it takes to reverse the cycle of homelessness; and while there are still many more milestones to recovery; these four are well on their way in the journey to re-claiming their lives.

This is just one of the ways that the Atlantic City Rescue Mission is making a difference in reversing the trends of poverty and homelessness. You can help by including is in your charitable donations. Make Our Mission Yours, visit: ACRescueMission.org.
