I know I didn't mention anything about sound but leave it how it is, at its default. Compressor automatically sets the audio to Stereo 48kHz 192kbps when burning DVDs and this is perfect quality for DVDs.

I explain GOPs and the best ones to use.
I explain how to burn a progressive DVD.
I explain the Frame Controls tab.
I explain how to insert a menu picture.

Open GOP: Starts with a B-frame that reference the last P-frame from the previous GOP.
Closed GOP: Starts with an I-frame. Cannot contain any frame that refers to a frame in the previous or next GOP.
