Zircon minings sites, situated 30 kilometers from Banlung, North Eastern province of Ratanakiri in Cambodia.
Dozens of families continue to work here everyday, digging narrow tunnels 15 meters deep, extracting and searching tons of dirt for a daily return of $5 to $15 in average.

Thank you for the video, i love Cambodia and the people particularlly the people from this province the beautiful Ratanakiri, the gemstone and mineral from this area are harvested by honest hard working people and prob. the most affordable in whole of asia region. One should visitthis area and buy the stone directly from the people coz once it goes to the middleman ,prices can be ridiculouslly epensive and the genuinity of the stone is of no guarentee
Do not ever buy natural gemstones. Buy Chatham gems they are flawless and also something worth while staying affordable. Gem creation technology is already perfect and nearly undetectable from natural one. Espesially rubys saphires emeralds etc All natural gems except lower priced gems are all bound with human corruption
