In April 2018, artist Ariki Brightwell was commissioned by Project Ataahua to create a mural at Alfred Cox Skatepark in Gisborne, New Zealand.
is mural depicts Heeni Tawaiea Te Kawhena, Ariki's grandmother (Hinekapuarangi Whakataka) ancestor and the Puhi Ariki (leader) of the Gisborne Manutuke region in 1860.
