"The Quandt family is the silent might, behind one of the world's largest and most profitable automakers, BMW. Yet the family has a dark past. Its businesses profited from forced labour during the Third Reich, and the patriarchs, who were intimately involved with the Nazi regime, managed to escape prosecution and keep those profits when the war ended, profits with which they could buy and rescue BMW. This documentary shows the victims, and asks the question, "Why are the Quandts silent?" [...].--Description by Youtube-user originalrhombus, who added: "Thank you to all those who appreciate just how time-consuming and arduous it was for me to translate and subtitle this documentary". My comment [Omadeon]: Credits & thanks to originalrhombus - who translated this video in English and uploaded it in 7 parts, as well as "ERTA-tv", who created the documentary back in 2007, long before the current crisis (and German-engineered EU austerity in Europe). I found another version of the documentary, of higher resolution. I then extracted the subtitles from the 7 parts version (by originalrhombus) and combined all this into a new, higher-quality single video, 1 hour long (made possible since Youtube gave me the privilege of unlimited time uploads). As regards copyrights: The journalists who made this documentary would certainly appreciate such translations and re-uploads, spreading around their message and their work.A blog-post will follow soon. (As regards Greek subtitles, I cannot promise them, but will probably do them, eventually...) Original sources: The French edition http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWZwud...
