An opening reception in recognition of women's history month and the completion of Museum of History & Holocaust Education's newest traveling exhibit, "Beyond Rosie: Women in World War II," that honors women's experiences of and contributions to the war. Featuring speakers Dr. Catherine Lewis, Director of MHHE; Maria Britt, Associate Vice President of Operations, KSU; Julia Brock, curator at MHHE; Mallory Faust, project intern and KSU public history graduate; and keynote speaker Jane Tucker, a real-life "Rosie" who was a welder in the Savannah shipyards during WWII.
