On today's Joe Show, host Joe Haley showcases more new products he found at the ASI Show ion Orlando. The scented pen and pencil are from The Smencil Co. (asi/87819) Each is made from 100% recycled newspaper and comes in 10 different scents. Aroma based promotions work when advertisers can tie the scent into their product or service offering or build around a scented theme. Also, as aroma is a key trigger for nostalgia, building a similar promotion would work well with these writing instruments. The Itzy Bitzy from Panther Vision (asi75825), is a lighted wallet reader. The small reading glasses come in a pouch and have a built in light making it easy to read menus and playbills in dimly-lit locales.
