Little did Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett know, that they were both playing there last game as Celtics. Both future hall of famers found there team down early in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals 0-3 against the Knicks. No team had ever come back from a 0-3 deficit, but they were just the team to do it. They rallied back into the series bringing it to 3-2 Knicks. Winning this crucial game 6 would put them back into contention where winner takes all in game 7. The Celtics struggled all night in that game 6. They found themselves down by 22 with just under 9 minutes to go in the 4th. That's when it happened. They went on an incredible 20-0 run to bring the game with 6 points. There streak ended at 23-4 before the Knicks put it away. The crowd was on there feet for more than half of the 4th quarter cheering on the Celtics. That is the reason why I love the Celtics; The fans, the history, the heart they play with. It's hard to see Paul and Kevin go, as it would have been great to see them retire as Celtics. They put on a great show in their final game and I wish them luck in Brooklyn.
