DC Park at Cameron Yards was built in 2005 by the Cameron and Dell'Anno brothers on Zachary Lane in Reading, MA. The Wiffle Ball field hosted the ZLWL from 2005 to 2008 and hosted over 40 tournaments in that timespan. Before the 2008 season the field was renovated to push the fences back further for more realistic scores. The park was switched around, a new left field fence and backstop were built, and new lights were installed for night caps. Rules are pretty simple. Hitting and running like baseball with mound-outs. 4 innings, 1 out, 3 strikes. Home run is over the fence or up on the roof in right. Anything in the deck is a limit double. In the summer we host tournaments and play nearly every day, even after the sun sets because we have the lights. A lot of blood, sweat and even tears have gone into the making of the field and playing the beautiful game of Wiffle Ball.
