Taking place in the summer of 2018 across two weekends in the iconic setting of Somerset House, Circus Sampler celebrated 250 years since Philip and Patty Astley pioneered circus in London in 1768.
As part of Circus Sampler, on a scorching hot weekend in early August, Gandini Juggling premiered Cascade. A special commission, the show was performed in the water jets of the fountain courtyard by 30 jugglers who sent balls large and small flying, to the rousing sound of brass played live by Circa Tsuica.
