This lovely home was built in 1867 and later bought by the Hamill family who lived in it until the 1930's. Then it was turned into a hotel, and finally given to the Historical Georgetown group in the 1970's. Much of the original wallpaper is still on the walls, as are many of the original light fixtures. This is a great museum that shows that life in Colorado was quite gentrified. Pat, the tour guide, granted me permission to post this video.
