Updated information as of the 9th of April, 2016. I recorded this on a rather poor PC, back in 2013. So, I apologise for the lag. Back then, I was (and still am!) rather naive about stuff. Three years ago though, I honestly believed my PC at the time was good enough to game on. Sadly, I was incorrect. This video is proof of that, lol.
Anywho, this is a 1.7 snapshot, called '13w36b'. Obviously there was no Mods, nor any kind of texture packs.
This is an attempt to record some flybys of an Amplified world in the 13w36b MineCraft Snapshot, on my Dell Dimension E510.
Amplified worlds require a pretty powerful computer, and mine could barely handle it, due to it's age. I have 4GB of RAM, a BFG Tech Nvidia GeForce 9600GT OverClocked graphics card, and a Prescott 2M Extreme Edition Pentium 4 Processor clocked at 3.8GHz. (In the video I said 3.2GHz, but I looked at my computer specs before I uploaded it, because I was not sure.)
From my assumption, you need a decent gaming computer to play Amplified with no lagg. Preferably 8GB+ of RAM, a Core 2 Quad/i5/i7 or better processor clocked higher than 2GHz, and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or better graphics card.
